What does the activity include?
During this half day introduction to falconry you will experience the thrill of handling these magnificent birds of prey. After arrival and registration you will move out to the countryside to fly the hawks in their natural environment, returning to the centre at about 4.30pm where the falconers will answer any questions you may have about the birds and the ancient sport of falconry.

What should I wear/take?
As this activity will be mostly outdoors, we suggest you wear comfortable outdoor clothing suitable for the weather conditions and a pair of strong walking boots or wellingtons if possible.
How long should I allow for this experience?
You should allow approximately 4 hours for this experience.
When does the activity take place?
The activity takes place all year round but spring, autumn & winter are ideal seasons for falconry as the temperatures are perfect for the birds in these months.
We recommend that you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You must book and take your experience before the voucher expiry date. All bookings are subject to availability.
Are there any restrictions?
Minimum age for Falconry course is 14 years at Kent / 16 years at Nottingham.
No dogs are allowed at the centre.
What about the weather?
If the weather is cause for cancellation then an alternative date will be offered to you.
Can I bring spectators?
Spectators are welcome but there may be a charge depending on location.
Kent -1 spectator per voucher holder is permitted at a cost of £30
Nottingham - 1 spectator per voucher holder is permitted at a charge of £30 per person (spectators under 10 years old go free).
What else do I need to know?
Wheelchair access and facilities for the disabled are available at Kent.
There will be walking over rough terrain, reasonable fitness is required
Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue.
Personal Accident and Cancellation Insurance is included.
Kindly note that each centre has their own cancellation policy and fees. Some centres may not allow a booking to be cancelled or changed once it has been made. Please call us for further details.

Next day delivery must be ordered before 12.00. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched the following day. A signature will be required upon receipt. Deliveries not signed for will taken to your local post depot
