The ideal introduction to windsurfing, a thrilling sport that combines aspects of both sailing and surfing. The fully qualified and friendly instructors will ensure you get the very best out of your experience and will take you through all the basic skills needed to sail where you want to go and back where you started from.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a member of the team and receive a briefing on the basic windsurfing techniques required. To ensure you get the most out of your experience before going afloat, you will receive some training on the land-based simulator to get to grips with the board. Then, it’s onto the water where you will learn the basics of windsurfing and by the end of the session, you will be able to sail, steer and turn your board across the wind. You’ll be amazed at just how much you can learn in this two-hour session and soon you will experience the freedom and enjoyment of gliding across the water. No doubt you will leave hooked. Taking place in the safety of a one hundred-acre inshore lake, this is the perfect environment to discover this exhilarating sport.

 

  • Minimum age: 16
  • A reasonable level of fitness is required; please advise us of any medical conditions at the time of booking
  • We recommend you bring along a change of clothes, towel, some old trainers to wear on the water and some warm clothes for afterwards. All specialist equipment is provided
  • No experience is necessary to take part as this taster session is aimed at beginners
  • Unfortunately this experience is not suitable for the disabled; however disabled access is available for spectators
  • The experience takes place on selected dates between April and October
  • Kindly note that all timings are approximate
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary. Please check with the venue when booking

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
