Soaring effortlessly and almost silently in the skies is an experience not to be missed. Those who experience a flight for the first time often describe the sport as breathtaking. Well now it’s your turn to take to the skies and take in those panoramic views and, with a little help from your instructor, you could be flying one of these dual controlled gliders.

The experience starts with a thorough briefing on all aspects of gliding from your instructor. You will then take to the air for this fantastic experience. The winch launch will take you to approximately 1,000 feet in a matter of seconds before releasing the glider for the flight to start, which will normally last between 7 - 12 minutes. You can either sit back and enjoy the ride or take the controls for a more ‘hands-on’ experience.

  • Minimum age: 14. (under 18’s must have written parental consent)
  • Minimum height: 5' 0"
  • Maximum height: 6' 4"
  • Maximum weight: 15 stone, this may vary slightly depending on the location, please check at the time of booking
  • As with many air sports, gliding is affected by the weather but to a lesser extent than most. In fact gliders can operate when many powered light aircraft are grounded. Should you not complete your experience due to bad weather, an alternative date will be offered to you
  • Spectators are welcome
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary. Please check with the venue when booking

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
