At your own pace explore some of the rare pieces in the Wedgwood museum and watch the pottery being made, before enjoying a delicious two course lunch.

Upon arrival at the centre you will be greeted by the friendly staff and given a brief overview of your experience.
Enjoy a self guided tour of the museum and Wedgwood Visitor Centre for a chance to learn all about Josiah Wedgwood, see some rare museum pieces and watch how the pottery is made.
Following a delicious, two course lunch at the Ivyhouse restaurant (waitress service and Wedgwood china, of course), it's time to get your hands dirty! Helped by a master craftsman you'll ‘throw a pot’ or paint a plate of your own, to be fired and sent on to your home address to take pride of place on your mantelpiece.
You'll receive an exclusive piece of handmade Wedgwood jewellery (ladies or gents) to the value of up to £50, a privilege card giving you two years free entry and 10% discount off any purchases you make on your day in the exclusive Wedgwood Shop and Gift Boutique.

  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult
  • The experience is available all year round with exception of the period from Christmas Eve to after the New Year Bank Holiday. The experience can be taken Monday to Friday 9 am to 5pm or Saturday & Sunday 10 am to 5pm. From 1st August 2011 the experience can be taken Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm
  • Participants are welcome to visit from 10am and stay until the centre closes. The time spent participating is 2 hours plus the tour and lunch
  • There is no dress code and aprons are provided
  • Only voucher holders can participate in the experience
  • Spectators are welcome but they will need to pay for an entry ticket on the day
  • Please note: From November to February inclusive the Craft Skills demonstration area will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary. Please check with the venue when booking

     

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
