What’s more, you’ll be following in the footsteps of Sir Richard Branson as you embark on your unforgettable airborne adventure.

  • Safety briefing and participation in setting up the balloon
  • Weekday morning balloon ride of approximately 60 minutes, as a member of small group of passengers

After a greeting and safety briefing from your pilot, the excitement begins with the inflation of the famous red balloon, almost seven stories high once upright. Climb aboard and as you take off, the feeling will be one of pure elation. The direction of the flight will be dictated by the wind and the flight itself will last around one hour. Your view of the beautiful British countryside will be uninterrupted in all directions as the scenery unfolds below. After landing, and once the balloon is packed away, it is time for the traditional celebratory toast with a glass of champagne – well, it would be rude not to! Then you’ll be transported back to your launch site, swapping stories on the way, before heading home with a real sense of achievement.

  • Minimum age: 7 (under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult)
  • Minimum height: 4’6”
  • Maximum weight: 18 stone
  • This experience is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant or has recently undergone major surgery
  • Please allow approximately 3 to 4 hours for the whole experience
  • The balloon flight itself will last around 60 minutes depending on weather conditions on the day
  • Ballooning requires good stable weather, light winds and good visibility
  • Spectators are welcome to watch the preparation and take-off, but we do not recommend that they follow the balloon by road in the interests of safety
  • Please note that most launch sites do not have toilets or other amenities

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
