In the heart of rural Sussex, one of Britain’s most beautiful southern counties, lies a vineyard which carries on a tradition brought to Britain by the Romans nearly 2,000 years ago. This experience gives a fascinating insight to the world of winemaking. Enjoy an interesting and entertaining tour around the vineyard and winery as well as a chance to taste three of the vineyard’s best wines.

This discovery tour is escorted throughout by an expert guide, who will take you through the process from 'grape to bottle'. You will discuss a selection of the vines and your guide will explain how they are trained, grown and harvested. You will then visit the vineyard’s state-of-the-art winery and bottling plant. Here you will discover the secrets of the winemaking process from the arrival of the grapes, to the bottling of the finished wine and taste three of the wines with the help of your tour guide.

  • Minimum age: 18
  • Participants should be in good general health. There is some walking involved, although the distance is not great. If you have any disability or illness that may prevent you from taking part in the experience you must discuss this with the centre before booking
  • The experience is available on selected weekdays and Saturdays all year round
  • Please allow approximately 2 ½ hours for the whole experience
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary. Please check with the venue when booking

 

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
