Here is your chance to be a VIP at the famous Woburn Safari Park. With over 800 animals in a natural environment, this tour offers you the opportunity to get an unparalleled close encounter with some of the world’s most magnificent and endangered animals.
From the comfort of Woburn’s VIP Land Rover, you will be escorted by an experienced Ranger who will explain about the park, its history and the animals which live there.
With lions, tigers, rhino, elephants, zebra and giraffe, to name but a few, you’re sure to find lots of your favourites as you drive off-road through the wide open spaces of the 330 acre park. You will also be driven through one of Europe’s largest and most diverse primate reserves, spotting three different types of monkey, just a windscreen’s width away!

Your experience will begin with the introduction of your Ranger who will explain the route you will be taking. Once all the safety instructions have been given it’s time to jump into your Land Rover and the VIP tour will begin. The tour lasts 2 hours in which time you can ask your Ranger as many questions as you wish. They will explain the history behind Woburn and its animals. After the tour is complete, guests are welcome to enjoy the other facilities in the park including the foot safari tour taken at their own leisure. Here there are walkthrough areas with wallabies, squirrel monkeys, penguins and lemurs. With a full programme of demonstrations, keeper talks and feeding times, it’s the perfect place to meet the animals and talk with the keepers that care for them.

  • Minimum age: There is no minimum age but one participant must be 18 or over. Parents of children under 4 must take their child’s car seat to be fitted into the land rover
  • The centre offers disabled access and we recommend you call the park direct for more information
  • Comfortable outdoor clothing suitable for the time of year is recommended
  • You will be walking around some parts of the park after the tour so a reasonable level of fitness is required
  • The VIP Tour will last 2 hours, however guests are welcome to use the facilities after the tour until the park closes
  • This experience is available between February and Mid December, subject to availability. Tours start at 4pm throughout the main season but will differ in November and December.
  • The Safari park is open every day as from 10th February until the end of October 2012 (weekends only until 10th Feb). The park opens at 10am and last admission (and last drive through) is at 5pm. The park closes at 6pm.

  • This voucher is valid for two people only. The tour will be shared with a maximum of four other people as the Land Rover can hold six
