This is your chance to drive not one, not two, but three of the fastest and most exciting powerboats in the UK for an adrenaline fuelled experience.

Your thrill will start with the Honda Formula 4-Stroke Series which is the largest, most exciting offshore powerboat series in the world and then onto the 300HP Hypercat, designed to rip through the water at twice the speed of a normal powerboat. To finish it’s onto the Thunderbolt, a unique high performance inflatable catamaran which races through the surf. Hold on for the ride of your life.

  • Safety briefing and introduction
  • 15 minutes at the controls of the Honda
  • 15 minutes at the controls of the Hypercat
  • 30 minutes at the controls of the Thunderbolt

Your experience begins with a safety briefing and an introduction to the three boats. After changing into the Saber Powersports racing team kit and safety gear it’s time to hit the water.

You board the boats with an experienced instructor who runs through driving procedure. Then it’s off for a session on each boat for a high adrenaline action including:

• Instruction on cornering and racing technique
• Wave jumping
• High speed take offs

You will be taken to the high speed offshore circuit where you will have the opportunity to race against the clock to find the ‘Aquastig of the Year’

You will share the driving with one other guest so each person has 15 minutes driving the Honda and the Hypercat and 30 minutes on the Thunderbolt.

During the debrief you will receive a photograph to remember the day.
 

  • Minimum age: 12 (under 16s will need to be with parents or guardians)

  • Minimum height: 5’
  • Maximum weight: 16 stone
  • The experience is not suitable for those with back, neck or heart complaints or for pregnant women
  • Months of operation: May - October
  • Days of the week: Weekends
  • Allow five hours for the entire experience. You will have three hours on the water with one hour at the controls of the Powerboat with another person in the same group.
  • Spectators are welcome
  • There is a free car park, two on site restaurants as well as a pub and a café. Dogs must be kept on a lead and children must be supervised at all times (it is a marina)
  • You will be provided with a water proof jacket
  • Disabled access is limited please contact us to discuss requirements
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary. Please check with the venue when booking

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
