If floating around on a lake is not your idea of fun, then how about taking to the water aboard a race boat? This is the ultimate hands-on power boating experience where you will have the chance to take control and learn how to handle the beautiful machine. It's also an ideal gift for anyone who loves adventure.

Your experience will begin with a full safety briefing. You will be provided with an offshore racing jacket and life jacket and then escorted to the waiting powerboat.  Start off learning to drive a Honda Raceboat. The Honda Formula 4-stroke championship HF4S is the largest, most exciting offshore series in the world, feel the speed and grace of this highly responsive racing machine. After a short cruise down the river; the driver will open up the throttle and you will be flying across the waves. You will have approximately 15-minutes of hands-on driving and tuition in the Honda Raceboat. You will also have the opportunity to test your skills on our offshore racing circuit  Take a lunch break back at base and get ready to take on the Suzuki Hypercat. The Suzuki Hypercat we have at Saber is similar to the craft used in the class one-powerboat series. Feel the speed and grace of this highly responsive racing machine. She can power through almost any water at high speed sending the boat flying high above the surface. This high performance wild cat demands respect. Would you like to put her through her paces? You will have approximately 20-minutes of hands-on driving and tuition in the Suzuki Hypercat - with over twice the power of the Honda Raceboats and an ‘Air entrapment hull’ you will soon be flying into the Solent.

  • Minimum Age: 12 but under 18's must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
  • Maximum Weight: 17 stone
  • This experience is not suitable for those with serious back problems, heart complaints or pregnant ladies.
  • No experience is necessary to take part as this experience is aimed at beginners.
  • All guests will be asked to sign a Health & Safety declaration and an indemnity form.
  • Courses run on selected weekend dates from May to October.
  • Spectators are welcome but they may not be able to see all of the action.
  • Lunch is not included but refreshments may be purchased on site.

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
