Are you a Top Gun or more of a Hot Shot? Only one way to find out! You can choose to fly ‘Top Gun’ sortie with an experienced fighter pilot in this amazing military aircraft.

After a full & thorough safety briefing, your ex-military instructors will demonstrate a formation take-off and close formation manoeuvering before teaching you how to fly aerobatics yourself. After you have flown some aerobatic manoeuvres in the Military Bulldog plane (a piston engined, propeller-driven aircraft), you will be introduced to tailchasing.
 
The flight is tailored to you and can be as wild or mild as you choose.
 

  • Minimum Age: 12
  • Maximum Age: none (over 61s must supply a doctor's letter confirming suitability to fly)
  • Minimum Height: 5ft
  • Maximum Height: 6ft 5in
  • Maximum Weight: 17 stone
  • Participants must be able to climb in and out of the aircraft unassisted, and be physically capable of operating a parachute in the event of an emergency
  • Flights operate midweek from the end of March to the beginning of November, subject to availability
  • Flights operate on Saturdays from the end of March to the beginning of November, subject to availability
  • Two spectators per participant are welcome and may be allowed to listen to the brief if there is enough space. Please be aware that Spectators are not covered by insurance to go airside. Spectating is not recommended for young children, as facilities are limited
  • It is essential that you wear light flat shoes with good grips – trainers are ideal
  • This is a weather dependent activity and it is crucial that you call the centre for a weather check before setting out
  • The experience content used and restrictions may vary. Please check with the venue when booking

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
