Almost a Victorian and medieval fantasy, Nidd Hall was named for a village many thought the ‘capitol’ of Yorkshire’s Nidderdale. It’s the English form of the Celtic Nith, or Shining River. And it’s a pretty way of describing a truly pretty place, set at the gateway to the delightful Dales and less than half-an-hour from the ruins of one of Britain’s finest Cistercian abbeys, where you can experience intimate dining.
Located in a sumptuous panelled room set in the main house, the AA Rossette accredited Terrace Restaurant offers the very best of modern British cuisine with beautiful open fire place and sophisticated Georgian and Victorian décor, it creates the perfect backdrop for any occasion. Enjoy three courses each from the delicious menu plus tea and coffee for this gourmet experience.

  • Availability depends on the restaurant opening times – please check with the hotel when booking (selected dates including Christmas and New Year may be excluded)
  • Please allow 2 hours for your three course dinner, although guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens and grounds which are open to visiting guests free of charge
  • Smart casual dress is recommended, please refrain from wearing caps or football shirts
  • Only those with a valid voucher can attend the three course dinner
  • Drinks are not included but may be purchased separately
