Ever fancied yourself at the controls of some serious military vehicles churning through mud, roaring up hills and possibly even screaming over a family saloon in a 55 ton Chieftain Main Battle Tank. These are just some of the things on offer at on The Full Monty Military Day.

The day will start by driving a selection of the fantastic vehicles available and believe me, it’s quite a selection. This purpose built course with steep side slopes and deep mud pools will test your driving skills to the full.

After a role call and safety briefing camouflaged suits and helmets are issued to six separate teams. Each team will compete in six activities from the list below. Please note that the activities may vary on the day depending on the availability of the equipment. A mid day lunch will be served and refreshments are available all day.

  • Driving a 432 Armoured Personnel Carrier
  • Driving a Russian Gvodzika tank
  • Clay Pigeon Shooting
  • SAS Woodland Patrol
  • Driving a Lance Missile Carrier
  • Driving a Humvee
  • Firing 17th century flintlocks and mortars
  • Talk on Weaponry and Terrorism

Each entrant will be awarded points for performance and the best driver on the day will crush a car with a Chieftain Main Battle Tank, with their team and spectators riding on the Chieftain, an experience you will never forget! (Don’t park your car too close!!). A hot lunch is also included.

  • Minimum age: 12
  • Maximum age: 88
  • Minimum height: 5' 0"
  • Maximum weight: 19 stone
  • Maximum chest measurement: 50 inches
  • The weather should not be cause for cancellation of this activity, in fact the more mud the better! If however the course is cancelled you will be offered an alternative date
  • Spectators are welcome. There is however an additional £30 charge payable on the day to cover a substantial lunch, all day refreshments, rides, the Armoury talk, SAS talk, and the flintlock and mortar talks. Spectators must be booked at least five days in advance. Children under seven are not permitted on site, even as spectators, and dogs and other animals are also not permitted on site

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
