Learn to impress friends and family with your new found sushi and sashimi making skills. This hands-on master class teaches the subtle art of making perfect sushi every time. During the class you will learn how to cook rice for sushi, how to prepare ingredients and where to source the best ingredients. You will learn a variety of recipes that you can recreate again and again at home. Classes are small, with a maximum of six participants, to ensure that you will get plenty of one to one tuition.

On arrival participants will be registered and be offered beverages of their choice. The day starts with a brief introduction to all the ingredients used in Japanese cuisine and particularly sushi. Participants will be shown how to prepare the ingredients, how to cook the sushi rice and how to roll their own sushi. This class is entirely hands on and will teach you the technique, with one to one tuition, to perfect the rolling of various types of sushi. All beverages, wines and beers are included in the experience. Each participant will receive an information and recipe pack including details of what has been cooked on the day. The sushi created can be eaten during the class but participants have the option of taking home what they have made.

  • Minimum age: 11
  • The experience is available Monday to Saturday from September to July. Classes run from 10.00am to 12.30pm
  • Please allow a total time of 2½ hours, although actual time participating will be approximately 2¼ hours
  • The experience is unaffected by weather unless there is a severe weather warning by the emergency services for travel purposes
  • All participants must have a valid voucher
  • A soft drink alternative will be offered to under 18s. ID may be required
  • When making your booking please mention any special dietary requirements
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary. Please check with the venue when booking

 

 

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
