Beer has been produced in Faversham for over 850 years and the Shepherd Neame Brewery, set in the centre of this historic market town, is open to visitors who wish to discover more about this proudly independent family company and its wide range of award winning beers.
The Visitor Centre is set in a beautifully-restored medieval hall house and, from here, you will join a guided tour which will take you through the heart of this busy working brewery, to see how beer is made from barley to bottle and from hop to hand-pump!
Then it’s back to the Visitor Centre for a fascinating tutored tasting after which you will savour a superb four-course “Beer Dinner”. Each course is matched by a specially-selected beer that has flavour which complements the food. The themed menus vary according to the season and each guest will take home 6 specially selected ales from the Shepherd Neame shop.
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
