Meet a variety of reptiles at Paradise Wildlife Park!
This package is the ideal way to have an up close encounter with a number of reptiles. Enjoy assisting with the care of each animal with your questions answered by a professional reptile keeper.

Your shadow a reptile keeper session will commence in the Discovery Centre where you will receive complimentary refreshments and be introduced to one of the reptile keepers who will be your host for your experience.
You will then be escorted on to the Animal Park to the ‘Temple of Angkor’ where you will be assisting with the care and presentation of a number of reptiles and other creatures. You will receive a health and safety briefing and information about how they care for their wonderful reptiles. You will help with the care and cleaning of a number of the enclosures for bearded dragons, chameleons, boa constrictors, pythons, tarantulas and many more!
The reptile keeper will be with you at all times to answer your questions and give you useful information about the welfare and care of reptiles.
You will receive a certificate and a t-shirt as a memento of a truly unique encounter.

  • Minimum age: 14 (under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult)
  • Women in the early stages of pregnancy should consult their doctor or midwife before booking
  • This experience can be booked on any day of the week except Christmas Day and New Years Day. All bookings are subject to availability
  • Your whole experience will last for approximately thirty minutes but you are welcome to arrive early to enjoy other attractions and animals in the Park
  • Although spectators will not be able to accompany the voucher holders during their experience, family & friends may pay normal admission prices to enter the park and enjoy the other attractions and animals
  • The weather will not affect the experience
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary. Please check with the venue when booking

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
