What happens on the day
On arrival at the venue you will be asked to sign a short disclaimer before being issued with the safety protection equipment. Once fully kitted out you will receive a short safety brief and demonstration by your instructor to show you how to control your Segway. Once you are confident you will then be ready to take part in the Segway Safari.
You may choose from one of the following tours:
Cheshire Borders - Your safari begins on a slalom and once mastered you will progress onto the Segway obstacle course which will see you gliding effortless over humps, bumps, see-saws and bridges. A perfect ending to your experience will be a session around the 40 acre fields and woodlands.
Godstone, Surrey – Once you have mastered the art of controlling your Segway you will head out to the off-road woodland track, designed to test your skills which will include obstacles, bumps, rough terrain and hairpin turns. To end your experience you will head to the flat field for some point-to-point racing.
Newcastle Racecourse – Having mastered the art of controlling your Segway you will head out to the open parkland of the Racecourse to experience the speed before heading to the woodland. Once in the woodland you will tackle the varying terrain.

• Surrey: 10 (under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult)
• Tyne & Wear: 11 (under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult)
• Maximum age: Tyne & Wear 90 (no maximum age at the other venues)Minimum weight: Greater Manchester , Tyne & Wear: 7 stone
• Minimum height:
• Surrey: 4ft 6in (no minimum height at other venues)
• Minimum weight:
• Surrey: 6 stone
• Maximum weight:
• Greater Manchester,Tyne & Wear: 18 stone
• Surrey:19 stone
• You must be able to stand comfortably for approx one hour and make stepping up and down motions as in climbing stairs
• Kindly note that the experience is not suitable for those with serious medical conditions, bad backs or pregnant women
• Availability:
• Greater Manchester - Most weekends throughout the season, from March to beginning of December (sessions start from 10.00 to 16.00)
• Surrey - Selected weekdays and Saturdays, from February to November (sessions start from 10.00 to 16.00)
• Tyne & Wear - Selected dates throughout the year (sessions start from 09.00 to15.00 winter months and 17.00 summer months)
• Please allow up to one hour for the whole experience. The tour itself will be around ¾ hour long. Kindly note that timings are approximate and may vary by location
• Refreshments and toilet facilities are normally available either nearby or onsite
• Personal safety equipment will be provided on the day
• You may be able to bring spectators to watch the practice session but they will not be able to view the tour
• The experience content used and restrictions may vary. Please check with the venue when booking

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
