The famous venue has been host to major tournaments and most recently hosted the 2010 Open Championship, so why not follow in the legends’ footsteps with this one night golf getaway at the stunning 5* St Andrews’ Fairmont Hotel and see if you can become the next Lee Westwood.
This experience is suitable for everyone, from complete beginners to advanced players, so don’t worry if your putting is not up to scratch or you often find yourself in the bunker, your PGA Professional will discuss what you hope to achieve and put together a programme for the six hours tuition, that will best benefit you both over this one night break.

Upon arrival at the 5* St Andrews’ Fairmont Hotel you will be welcomed by the friendly staff and shown to your room. The hotel is situated at St Andrews Bay with stunning views overlooking the town. It boasts lavish rooms, sumptuous dining and a luxury spa combined with world-renowned service and attention to detail.
After check in you will be welcomed by your PGA Professional and will discuss what you hope to achieve from your school. The two programme sessions on the first day will be tailored to work on the specific areas in which you wish to improve or it can be used to work on all aspects of the game. The sessions are designed to be interactive, fun and informative so providing you with the knowledge and understanding to move forward.
After the lessons with the professional you can put your new found skills to the test by playing a challenging 18 holes on either The Fairmont Kittocks or Torrance Course. Both courses are highly regarded, of links style, championship standard and command stunning views over the town.
Day two will include a further two tuition sessions to highlight the key areas in which you want to improve. During your experience your golf swing will also be recorded and will be emailed to you, after the experience, as a memento. You will also receive a future development plan and information booklet before departing.
Full use of the spa facilities at the hotel for both guests is also included.
Breakfast is included on the morning of your stay.

  • St Andrews is in a coastal location so can occasionally experience strong sea winds, especially in winter months. Weather is changeable so be prepared for all eventualities
