After your banquet there’s a disco to dance the night away before relaxing in one of the hotels uniquely designed feature bedchambers.

This unique experience will include one night’s accommodation in one of Coombe Abbey’s feature bedchambers, some of which have Victorian roll top baths and 4 poster beds, a medieval banquet dinner, stage show and disco plus breakfast for two the following morning. If you want to really get into the swing of things you can even hire traditional medieval costume and dress the part! Your dinner will last approximately 2 hours with entertainment throughout from traditional medieval actors.

Some of the menu options are as follows:

  • The Abbot's Broth - A hearty broth of vegetables, pearl barley and herbs served with stoneground bread
  • The Royal Rib - Marinated rib of swine with sage, cider and honey
  • My Baron's Chicken - Quarter roasted fowl, rolled in mace, tarragon and crushed black pepper in a sharp lemon and mead sauce
  • The Coombe Abbey Apple Crumble - Apple and apricot crumble with elderflower cream
  • Vegetarian options are also available
  • The meal is accompanied by three goblets of red wine and three beakers of mead per person

You are welcome to stay after the dinner for the disco featuring Coombe Abbey’s resident DJ and dance till the early hours. As a guest of the hotel you may make use of the facilities at the local Warwickshire Health Club, Esporta. Guests will have free use of facilities such as all year round tennis courts, a gym, a heated pool, steam room and a seated spa.

  • This experience is available on selected Friday and Saturday nights throughout the year, subject to availability
  • The banquet dinner will start approximately 7.00pm however times are subject to change. The hotel will confirm exact timings for dinner when booking
  • You are welcome to check into the hotel from 3.00pm and check out will be 11.00am the following day. Breakfast will be served from 7.00am-10.00am every day
  • Menus are subject to change and availability. We recommend you inform the hotel of any dietary requirements at the time of booking
  • Room types are subject to availability
  • The hotel requires guest to wear smart clothing – No jeans and trainers. Medieval costume is optional and the hotel can arrange for a suitable hire company to help with your outfits
  • All areas of the hotel have full disabled facilities but please check when making your booking
