If you’re passionate about wine or have already been on a beginner’s course then you are sure to enjoy this advanced course. Led by an expert and held in a relaxed and informal atmosphere; this class will discuss all of the major classic wine regions in Europe and New World, looking at climate, important vintages, soil, grapes, winemaking trends and important producers, what makes the region unique and which food to serve with a particular wine. You will get to taste 14 different wines during the course of the day.
On arrival at the venue you will be met by your wine specialist who you will be with for the duration of the experience. You will taste 14 different wines, during each tasting you will discuss the following topics:
How the wine is made, Styles of wine, Climate, important vintages, soil and grapes of the region, Winemaking trends and important producers, What makes that region unique, Which food to serve with particular wine, Value for money.

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Please allow approximately 6 hours on site for the whole experience
• Courses usually start at 11am and finish at 5pm, please check this at the time of booking
• The experience is available on selected Saturday dates throughout the year. All dates are subject to availability
• Unfortunately spectators are not allowed to attend
