Here is an opportunity to get up close to the fascinating creatures, the Meerkats at Drusillas Park in East Sussex. You will receive a behind the scenes tour before entering the Meerkat enclosure to learn about their personalities, how they are cared for at the animal park before feeding them.

You will be met by an animal keeper at the park who will give you a behind the scenes tour before escorting you to the Meerkat enclosure, where you will receive a health and safety briefing. Once you have been fully briefed, the keeper will discuss the Meerkats with you and how they are cared for at the park. You will then begin the preparation of their food and enrichment to ensure that they all receive a diverse and varied diet before feeding the Meerkats their snack. After helping with the daily keeper routines there will be plenty of time to get up close and personal for some photographs. Participants are welcome to arrive early and stay until the park closes to enjoy other attractions and animals. Also included is 20% discount for the participant in the Explorers Café Restaurant.

  • Minimum age: 6 (under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and will receive free entry to the Park but not access to the animal enclosure)
  • Your experience will last approximately 30-40 minutes, however you are welcome to spend all day at the park
  • Please wear casual comfortable clothing suitable for the time of year, we also recommend you wear suitable footwear such as walking boots or wellingtons
  • This experience is run daily except Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day
  • Although spectators will not be able to accompany the voucher holder during their experience, family & friends may pay normal admission prices to enter the park and enjoy the other attractions and animals

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
