The Elizabethan stately home located in the civil parish of Mapledurham in Berkshire is home to the last ever working corn mill. Enjoy a pleasure flight over the estate, including a stretch of the River Thames, followed by a delicious cream tea made using the flour freshly ground at the Mill. You will also have the chance to explore the house, St Mary’s Church and the old Mill itself.

Enjoy a spectacular day of discovery at the Mapledurham House Estate with its beautiful House, Church, Mill and grounds, each with a rich history waiting to be discovered.
The grounds have been used as locations in a number of film and TV productions most notably 'The Eagle has landed' starring Michael Caine and hit series such as 'Anyone for Dennis'.
Your Helicopter Tour will take you on a 6 mile round trip over the estate and a stretch of the River Thames during which your pilot will point out areas of interest and explain the history of the estate. Once you land you are welcome to explore the house (open from April – October) along with the Church and the old working mill before being treated to a delicious cream tea using the flour ground by the mill.

  • Minimum age: 6 (adult supervision required for under 16s)
  • Maximum height: 6ft 6in
  • Maximum weight : 15 stone
  • You should not take part if you suffer from epilepsy, vertigo or are pregnant
  • The experience is available on selected dates throughout the year. Saturdays are limited due to popularity
  • Your 6 mile flight will last approximately 5 minutes
  • The flight will be shared by a small group of up to 8 people
  • Special dietary requirements can be catered for - please specify when booking
  • Your voucher is valid for six months from the date of issue, kindly note that you must have booked and taken your experience before your expiry date as vouchers may not be extended beyond their expiry
