The Snooker Academy in Sheffield is home to a number of resident professional snooker players. With this full day experience at the Academy you will learn about the history and theory of the game of Snooker and will be trained by a professional World Snooker Grade A Coach. With one to one sessions with your coach, this will enable you to improve your techniques and strategy. Included in your day is a three course lunch with refreshments. Upon arrival at the Academy you will be met by your World Snooker Coach who will be your instructor for the day. You will be given a briefing on the history and theory of the game, before being issued with all of the equipment needed. You will then head to one of the ten full size professional tournament tables, used by world class players, for your first one to one coaching session before breaking for a three course lunch. After lunch you will head back to the table for more practice and training. At the end of your experience you can review your day's activity with a short debriefing session with certificate presentation. You will also receive a personalised signed photocard of the current Masters champion Ding Junhui and there may also be a photo opportunity with a resident player, so don't forget to bring your camera.

  • Minimum age: 10 (Under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)
  • This experience is run 7 days a week. Date exclusions such as major events may apply. All bookings are subject to availability
  • Please allow approximately 7 hours for the whole experience
  • A maximum of 4 spectators are welcome to attend. Please note: lunch will not be included for spectators but may be purchased on site
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary. Please check with the venue when booking

 

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
