 It's all angles, all action and lots of fun as you gain driving skills that could one day save your life. Your reflexes and co-ordination will be tested to the full as you learn the advanced techniques to counteract understeer and oversteer in a simulated loss-of-control situation.

Instruction and training on the effective handling of a road vehicle in a skid situation.

When you arrive, you will normally be asked to sign an indemnity form which will also require parental/guardian signature for under 18's. Your training session will usually be shared with three other drivers taking turns to drive. You will be given an initial briefing, followed by detailed training from a qualified instructor and then hands-on experience tackling the skidding car. The experience will provide basic instruction on control and prevention of understeer, oversteer, weight transfer, and the correct use of throttle and brakes.

  • Minimum Age: 17 (18 at Silverstone, Northamptonshire)
  • Minimum Height: 5' (5' 2" at Northamptonshire)
  • Maximum Height: 6' 5" (6' 7" at Northamptonshire)
  • Maximum Weight: 18 stone.
  • You must have held a full UK driving licence for at least 1 year to take part in this experience
  • Your driving licence must be presented on the day (no photocopies)
  • Availability on selected dates throughout the year.
  • Please allow approximately 2-3 hours for this experience.

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
