Introduction to Owl Handling

• Introduction to the owls at your chosen venue
• Meet and greet some of the magnificent owls whist learning about their habitats in the wild

On arrival you will be welcomed by the keeper and given an introduction to the owls. You will get to meet them and learn a little bit about their life and their habitat in the wild. After some basic handling instruction, it is time to experience the thrill first hand as you fly them loose and have them return to your gloved fist. There will be ample opportunities for photographs so don’t forget your camera! Please note the experience usually takes place in a small group.

• Minimum age: 12-14 (depending on location. Under 18’s need parental/guardian consent)
• You should be in reasonable health and have a reasonable level of fitness as some walking may be involved
• The experience will last between 1 and 2 hours depending on location
• The activity takes place all year round but some centres may be closed during winter months. Please check individual locations at the time of booking
• Most centres will allow spectators with a fee; please check with the centre before booking

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
