Introduction to Mountain Boarding for One

Introductory Mountain Boarding for One
£50.00

Mountain Boarding is an extreme sport that has really exploded in the UK over the past few years and is seriously good fun. A Mountain Board is a cross between a skateboard and a snowboard which can be used on slopes covered by grass or sometimes dirt. The basic principle behind Mountain Boarding is fairly simple - get down the hill having as much fun as you possibly can and trying cool new moves along the way! This introductory experience is the perfect start to this very accessible extreme sport; you can realistically expect to be carving down the hills by the end of the session and be set up to continue the sport on your own. Bumps and grinds guaranteed - you wouldn't want it any other way!

  • Full safety briefing covering all aspects of the grounds and boards
  • Safety equipment including helmet, knee and elbow pads
  • Tuition on power slides, moves and techniques to get the most from your board
  • Practice time to perfect your new skills

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a thorough safety briefing covering all aspects of the grounds and the boards. You will then be kitted out with everything including the board, helmet and pads. Once you have determined your stance you're ready to start learning the principles. It is then off to the junior slope to have a go! You will practice your power slides and then be shown how to perform moves such as toe turns, heel turns and how to carve down the hill. You can move on to the big slope as soon as you are ready, where you can continue to practice your new skills. You will even be helped to the top of the hill by using the motorised drag lift! An excellent half day experience that will get you involved and on the steep slope to becoming a mountain boarder!
