Experience the thrill of being a hovercraft pilot with this exclusive one to one experience.
Learn to fly on land with an instructor, mastering the basics of hovercraft flight before taking on the 30 acre lake. Glide effortlessly up to 40mph sideways and learn to do 180 and 360 degree spins at speed! Remember, this is an individual, fast paced experience and you get 30 minutes with you at the controls.

You will need to arrive at the venue about 15 minutes prior to your start time. You will, initially, learn how to operate the craft on land; an instructor will be sat behind you in the craft giving you tuition throughout, but the important thing is you will be at the controls for the entire 30 minutes. Once you have mastered the controls you will move on to the water, and depending on your confidence you may reach speeds of up to 40 miles per hour, (sometimes sideways) and learn how to do 180 and 360 degree spins.
All safety equipment and buoyancy aids will be provided and the facilities include full changing rooms, showers, chill out areas and a licensed bar should you need a refreshing drink after your exhilarating experience.

 

  • Minimum age: 17
  • Maximum weight: 18 stone
  • You need to be reasonably fit to participate in this experience. If you have any medical condition, including pregnancy, which restricts movement whilst in the craft, you will be unable to participate
  • Please note: anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate
  • This experience is run mainly at weekends. Some weekdays are available but they are limited and subject to availability
  • The venue is closed between December and February
    Please allow approximately 1 ½ hours on site for the whole experience
  • Spectators are welcome to come along and watch. There is a bar and a seating area on site

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
