The Bulldog, a piston engined, propeller-driven plane, has been the training aircraft of choice for ten air forces around the world. Your fighter pilot instructor will teach you to fly aerobatic manoeuvres and the trip can be as mild or as wild as you choose.

Upon arrival you will be kitted out into your flying suit and military bone dome. After which you will attend a pre-flight briefing which includes a safety/parachute brief, how to fly the aircraft, aerobatic manoeuvres and a short video. You will also receive a personal sortie brief with a former military instructor, ensuring that the sortie is tailored to you. Then it’s time to strap on your parachute and have a cockpit controls and safety brief at the aircraft before boarding this magnificent aircraft. During your flight your instructor will demonstrate manoeuvres and you will then get the chance to practice them. Once back on the ground you will have a personal debrief with your instructor in which you will receive a signed flight certificate.

  • Maximum age: 55 (over 55’s require a letter from their GP)
  • Maximum height : 6’ 5”
  • Maximum weight: 17 stone
  • Participants are required to sign a disclaimer before taking part
  • This is a weather dependent activity and it is crucial that you call the centre for a weather check before setting out.  If your flight is cancelled due to bad weather then an alternative date will be offered to you.
  • Two spectators per participant are welcome and may be allowed to listen to the brief if there is enough space.  Please be aware that Spectators are not covered by insurance to go airside.  Spectating is not recommended for young children, as facilities are limited.
  • The aerodrome has café facilities.
  • Flights operate Monday to Saturday all year round subject to availability.

 

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
