Flow House Bedford offers this brand new experience combining the thrill of surfing, skateboarding and wakeboarding all in one place, all indoors, called Flowboarding. This brand new FlowRider® creates an endless wave of water about four inches deep which allows you to surf on top of specially designed boards. This unique indoor facility offers the very first double FlowRider® in the UK so why not be amongst the first to try this incredible experience. No previous experience necessary, this is designed for maximum fun for all.

  • Full safety briefing
  • Issue of equipment to include a wet suit and board
  • Allow 3 hours for your visit
  • You will take it in turns, in a group of up to 12, to test out your skills and balance for approximately 60 minutes

Once you arrive on site, you will be greeted at reception. Here, you will complete your paperwork before attending a classroom briefing by an experienced instructor. After kitting up in wet suits provided,(you will need to provide your own swimwear, and goggles if required) you will make your way to the FlowRider® where you can spend the next 60 minutes taking it in turns to practice indoor surfing and body boarding. Be aware that you may fall off the board and into the water a number of times as you get used to the skills required. Don’t worry, this is all part of the fun!

  • Minimum age: 7 (however a parent’s discretion is advised as all users must be comfortable standing in four inches of fast moving water)
  • An average level of fitness and good level of mobility is required as this is a strenuous physical activity
  • Kindly be aware that this activity takes place on fast moving water and you will probably fall off your board at some point.
  • This is not deep enough to swim in but you do need to feel comfortable in this environment
  • The Flow Rider uses powerful jets to blast sheets of water approximately 4 inches deep over the surface of the Flow Rider
  • This experience is not suitable for pregnant women and those with a history of heart, back, neck, shoulder or joint problems
  • Vouchers will be valid for 9 months
  • You must bring your own swimwear. You may also choose to bring goggles although this is not a requirement. Wet suits will be provided to be worn over swimwear. All swimwear must be securely fitting
  • The venue is open six days a week Wednesday to Monday (closed Tuesdays). and will be available at specific times on each day
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary. Please check with the venue when booking

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
