This is a fantastic opportunity to get up close to the rare African penguins. Come and learn about these fascinating creatures before feeding them by hand and learning about their unique behaviours.

On arrival at the Discovery Centre you will enjoy complimentary refreshments, receive a souvenir t-shirt and certificate as a memento of a truly memorable encounter. Once you have been met by a member of the Park’s trained team, you will be escorted to the Penguin House, where you will receive a health and safety briefing. You will then spend approximately 30 minutes inside the Penguin House, with the keeper, feeding these truly unique African Penguins by hand and watching each of them display their own individual personality. The keeper can also help take photos of you and the penguins on your own camera.
You are welcome to come early and stay late to enjoy the other facilities, animals, shows and attractions at Paradise Wildlife Park.
 

  • Minimum age: 10 (under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult)
  • Your whole experience will last for approximately 30 minutes but you are welcome to arrive early to enjoy other attractions and animals in the Park
  • This experience can be booked on any day of the week except Christmas Day and New Years Day. All bookings are subject to availability
  • This experience is not weather dependent
  • Please wear casual comfortable clothing suitable for the time of year that you don’t mind getting a little bit dirty, we also recommend you wear suitable footwear such as wellingtons. Be sure to bring a camera as there will be plenty of photo opportunities
  • Although spectators will not be able to accompany the voucher holder during their experience, family & friends may pay normal admission prices to enter the park and enjoy the other attractions and animals.
  • Disabled access is available, for further information please discuss with the supplier at the time of booking
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary. Please check with the venue when booking

     

 

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
