Welcome to indoor skydiving, a freefall experience that everyone must try. Ever wanted to try skydiving but have a fear of flying? No problem. Now you can experience the thrill of skydiving without having to leave the ground at the world’s largest indoor skydiving facility. With wind speeds up to 170mph it’s an extremely realistic simulation of freefalling. This incredible facility is the first choice for actual skydiving teams to train from all over the world so you can be assured of being in the very best hands of top professionals. You'll get more 'flight time' than other similar experiences on the market.
The tunnel has a unique past and was originally built in 1950 by the MOD to better understand aerodynamic forces, such as the phenomenon of an aircraft flat spin then later to test the resilience and success of items such as ejector seats. In the late 90's the tunnel was demilitarised but with a great deal of hard work and investment the tunnel was bought back to life, as the UK's first and World's largest skydiving tunnel. So you'll be experiencing a bit of history too.

A family indoor skydiving lesson is a perfect way to enjoy flying as a family. A maximum of four people (Maximum of two adults) can share ten minutes of flying time between them. All flights are one on one with an instructor and all kit hire and briefings are included.
After checking in you will attend a short instruction class on skydiving techniques and a short video briefing to teach you some skills. Then it's off to the kit up area to collect your flight gear, including flight suit, helmet, earplugs and goggles.
You and your group will then enter the tunnel area for your sky diving experience.

  • Minimum age: 4 (under 18’s will need to be accompanied by an adult who will be asked to read and sign an acceptance of risk form on their behalf)
  • There is no upper age limit but you do need to be reasonably fit to participate in this experience. All participants are asked to sign a disclaimer
  • Maximum weight: 20 stone
  • You will not be permitted to participate if you are pregnant, have ever suffered a dislocated shoulder, serious back or disk problems, have any freshly stitched wounds, Osteoporosis, any bone illnesses, heart problems, are wearing a hard cast or are under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs
  • You will spend approximately 2 hours on site. Your arrival time will be at least an hour before your flight time
  • This activity takes place all year round and is available seven days a week. Participants will be booked in for both of the activities on the same day. Weekend availability may be limited due to popularity
  • The weather does not affect this experience
  • Spectators are welcome and there is a free viewing gallery, although small children may be better kept in the lounge area as the viewing gallery is noisy
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary. Please check with the venue when booking
