This package is the ideal way to get over your fear of all things creepy crawly! Under the supervision and guidance of the friendly keepers, you will get to face up to your biggest fear. You can choose to handle a variety of lizards, birds and non-venomous snakes. If you’re brave enough you can handle the most challenging of all, the tarantula.

Upon arrival at the park you will be welcomed by the friendly team in the Discovery Centre and offered some refreshments.
Your experience will be exclusive to you and your keeper will explain the types of animals that are available to hold. You will be under no pressure to do anything you don’t wish to do and you will have up to two hours to try and overcome those fears! Plenty of encouragement is given by the keepers and you will feel a real sense of achievement after handling the creatures, you will even receive a certificate to prove your feat and a souvenir Paradise Wildlife T-Shirt.

  • Minimum age: 10 (under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult)
  • Women in the early stages of pregnancy should consult their doctor or midwife before booking
  • This experience can be booked on any day of the week except Christmas Day and New Years Day. All bookings are subject to availability
  • You are welcome to spend the day at the park before and after your booked experience. The Face Your Phobia experience will be for a maximum of two hours, depending on how long it takes to overcome your fears
  • Although spectators will not be able to accompany the voucher holders during their experience, family & friends may pay normal admission prices to enter the park and enjoy the other attractions and animals
  • The weather will not affect the experience
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary. Please check with the venue when booking

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
