The Michelin starred L'ortolan restaurant is located in a stunning listed building in the beautiful Thames Valley. Whether you’re a novice cook or have flair in the kitchen this deluxe Chef’s Experience will allow you the rare opportunity to get stuck into the service and preparation at this award winning restaurant. You will have first class service throughout your entire day with your very own chauffeur to bring you to and from the restaurant in a prestigious Audi R8 worth £100,000. Upon arrival at the award winning restaurant you will be met by the friendly staff and chefs and shown around the kitchen before your hands on experience begins. Whilst the lunch service is being prepared you will be in the heart of the kitchen working in various sections with a qualified, professional chef. Why not help ‘plate up’ or attend at the ‘Pass’ where the chefs’ amazing creations are sent out to the customers. This is a fast paced kitchen and you will be involved in helping the chefs present the food to Michelin Star quality, all with the help of Executive Chef Alan Murchison and his team. After all your hard work you are welcome to join the chefs with a light lunch to include fresh seasonal ingredients, some of which you may have prepared earlier. If you are ready and willing, join the team again for the dinner preparation and service – most definitely not for the faint hearted! You will also be offered a return visit to L’ortolan to experience the fine dining from outside the kitchen with a Tasting Menu and Wine experience. You will be sampling ten Michelin Starred courses and eight wines all chosen by a master sommelier so you can become an expert in the art of matching food and wine the Michelin way. This experience wouldn’t be complete without some mementos to help recreate the gastronomic experience at home. You will be given a signed, dedicated copy of Alan Murchison’s Food For Thought book including some tips and tricks you learnt in the kitchen and an exclusive champagne gift from Pommery. A unique and deluxe experience!

• Minimum age: 18
• You should have a reasonable level of fitness as you will be standing for a long period of time
• This experience is available on Tuesdays to Saturdays
• Transportation in the Audi R8 will be within a 100 mile radius of L’ortolan
• The experience will begin at 9.00am and the lunch service will last until 4.00pm. Lunch will be served at 11.30am. The chefs will take a break from 4.00pm until 6.00pm when they will begin the dinner preparation
• Customers are encouraged to stay for the dinner preparation, although you are able to finish your day after the lunch service if you wish. If you choose to stay for the dinner service the finish time will around 10.30pm
• Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes as you will be standing throughout your experience
• Aprons will be provided
• The return visit for the tasting and wine experience can be booked on the day and further information can be found with the supplier
• Whilst on most occasions the Executive Head Chef will be available it cannot always be guaranteed. A suitable chef will be available in the event this might happen
