You will arrive 30 minutes before your pre-booked trip and be met at our friendly office in front of the National Maritime Museum in the historic port of Falmouth, Cornwall. Once all our passengers have arrived you will be taken to our departure point in the National Maritime Museum and adults will be provided with waterproof trousers and jackets if required. Please note that children will need to be wrapped up warm with their own waterproofs. We will provide lifejackets for adults and children. After a safety briefing you will be seated on the vessel 'Seaquest of Falmouth' and depart for the adventure of a lifetime. The trip aims to introduce you to the outstanding beauty of the coastline, while looking for any wildlife that may be in the area. Wildlife could include dolphins, basking sharks, seals or many other species that are regularly spotted around the Cornish coastline. Your skipper will provide a cheery face and an informative commentary, describing fascinating facts about shipwrecks, smugglers tales, local history and the marine environment and you will experience some of the most beautiful Cornish coastline and fishing villages up close. Depending on weather, some of the trips may include the peaceful tranquillity of the River Fal, an area of outstanding natural beauty with trees down to the rivers edge and herons hunting for fish or even a ride down the Helford River. You may see seals or peregrine falcons as well as pretty villages such as Helford and Helford Passage. Once you have enjoyed your trip and are back on land you are free to explore the National Maritime Museum at your leisure. (Please note that if your trip is late afternoon, you can explore the museum before your coastal trip).
