This cocktail making experience provides an introduction to the world of cocktails, professional bartending and explores its roots from 1806 to the present day, introducing a practical foundation in the mechanics of mixology and cocktail preparation.  You learn methods of cocktail making; building a drink, stirring, shaking, blending, layering, muddling, straining and smashing!!! oh and tasting.

On arrival at the venue you'll receive a welcome drink before an insight into the introduction of the cocktail and its history. You'll be shown and taught tricks and tips from the Cocktail experts along with mixology and the cocktail being explained. After a break of tea, coffee or maybe even a cocktail, you'll be shown demonstrations by the experts and then its hands on for interactive cocktail making. Learn the classic and contemporary cocktails of today and then it's time to go home and put in practice all that you've learned being  to impress all your friends.

  • Minimum age: 18  (You may be asked to provide proof of age identification on the day)
  • You will receive either a complimentary cocktail guide or a professional cocktail shaker as a souvenir of the day
  • Unfortunately the building does not provide disabled access
  • There will be approximately 15 people in total on this course
  • The course lasts approximately 5 hours, including approximately 30 minutes for a break
  • Courses are held on selected Saturdays only approximately once a month at alternate locations 
  • We recommend you book at six to eight weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher.  This is only a guideline and we advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.  You must book and take your experience before the expiry date.  All bookings are subject to availability

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
