This helicopter sightseeing flight gives a unique bird’s eye view of the South Downs, the South Coast and some of the remarkable castles, stately homes and cathedrals which adorn the beautiful Sussex countryside. Flying from the historic Goodwood Aerodrome, this flight will include Goodwood House, Petworth House, Amberley Castle, Arundel Castle & Cathedral and the South Coast between Littlehampton and Bognor Regis. The route includes two castles, two stately homes, two cathedrals, two horse racing tracks and a motor racing circuit all in half an hour.

Passengers will arrive at the offices at Goodwood Aerodrome approximately 15 minutes before the agreed flight time and take a seat in the passenger lounge which has views across the airfield so passengers can see the helicopters and other aircraft flying around Goodwood. Passengers will receive a full safety briefing prior to being escorted to the aircraft for their thirty minute flight.

  • Minimum age: 4 (under 16s need to be accompanied by a paying adult)
  • Maximum weight: 16 stone
  • Allow 45 minutes to 1 hour for the whole experience, the flight time will be 30 minutes
  • This flight is run on selected dates only, usually Saturdays or Sundays, from April to October
  • Vouchers are valid for 12 months
  • The flight may be affected by low cloud, poor visibility, high winds or heavy rain
  • Any bookings which cannot be fulfilled due to weather or operational considerations (e.g. high winds, low cloud, mist / fog, etc.) will be re-booked to a convenient alternative date
  • Depending on the type of helicopter available maximum group size is six
  • Spectators are welcome, but are only permitted on to the airfield itself with a staff escort (subject to availability). Spectators may watch from the viewing lounge
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary. Please check with the venue when booking

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
