A fantastic opportunity to join one of our professionals who look after big cats at the Wildlife Heritage Foundation breeding centre in Kent.  The centre is not open to the general public therefore this is a truly rare opportunity for all those who love big cats.

Following a safety briefing you will be given a guided tour of the site to meet all the cats, these include African Lions, 3 Tiger Species, Amur Leopards, Cheetahs and Snow Leopards. During this experience you will share a typical working day with one of the professional keepers and will have an opportunity to help clean and tend the cats and their enclosures and assist with feeding the cats (kindly note that the feeding takes place on selected days only).

  • Minimum age: 16  (Kindly note that anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).
  • There may be some bending and lifting involved, please advise the staff on the day of the experience if you are unable to take part in these activities.
  • Ladies in early stages of pregnancy are asked to consult their doctor or midwife before booking.
  • The total distance of the site is approximately 800 metres and as there is a lot of walking involved you must be able bodied and reasonably fit.  If you are unsure then please check with you doctor before booking.
  • Please allow approximately 5 hours for the whole experience including your safety briefing and tour.
  • The experience takes place on Thursdays and Fridays from March to October and Fridays only from November to February. 
  • Spectators over the age of 18 years are welcome at a charge of £15 per person, this will allow you to accompany the voucher holder, have lunch and take photographs.
  • A maximum of 1 spectator per voucher holder is permitted; please advise us at the time of booking if you wish to take a spectator.
  • Please wear outdoor clothing suitable for the time of year. Good footwear is recommended or Wellington boots in the case of wet weather.

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
