Where better than the 'Home of Golf', St Andrews to begin your golfing journey. Whether you are new to golf or want to review fundamentals, the three hour beginners’ golf lesson offers the basic golf knowledge and skills needed to increase your confidence on the course.

Arrive at the St Andrews Practice Centre to be welcomed by your PGA Professional and discuss what you hope to achieve from your experience.
The program format includes golf terminology, rules, shot selection, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing, driving and much more. Beginners will find learning the game of golf enjoyable in this relaxed, supportive and interactive session devoted especially to the needs of the novice golfer.
The player will receive a video of their swing by e-mail, complete with analysis and action points as a memento of the experience.
The world class facilities at St Andrews are used by the PGA Professional and include teaching bays, short game areas, bunkering and putting greens. The PGA Professional will be using the latest video analysis equipment and software to complement their tuition skills and provide a comprehensive experience.

  • Minimum age: 18
  • The experience is for a total of three hours
  • The experience is available seven days of the week, twelve months of the year
  • St Andrews is in a coastal location so can occasionally experience strong sea winds, especially in winter months. Weather is changeable so be prepared for all eventualities
  • Spectators are welcome

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
