The Abyss at Magna offers the only indoor extreme sports centre in the UK. The Awesome Foursome offers a unique full day of adrenalin. Start off with a 250ft Zip Wire which reaches speeds of 30mph. Then abseil 150ft into The Abyss from the rafters of The Face of Steel. Getting braver by the minute you can then try the newest extreme experience in the world - a 150ft Parachute Simulator; feel the rush of gravity before the braking system allows you to parachute safely onto terra firma. Finally with the adrenalin pumping its time for the ultimate rush, The worlds only indoor Bungee Jump at 150ft. Picture the scene...you are enveloped in semi darkness, spot lights whirl around Magna’s breathtaking structure, the Face of Steel, standing at 150ft, you start to climb the 143 steps to the jump zone, music pumps out of a wall of speakers, dry ice fills the air, and seven huge video screens project images of what you are about to experience...and that’s before you’ve even taken the plunge.

You’ll arrive at the centre at your allotted time and be given a safety briefing.  After that, you’ll be whisked off to your first adrenaline activity, the 250ft Zip Wire.  This is the longest indoor zip wire in the world and reaches speeds of up to 30mph.  Then it’s off to abseil into The Abyss from the rafters of The Face of Steel.  Having done that, you’ll be getting braver by the minute, so the 150ft Parachute Descender will be next: the newest extreme experience in the world where you will feel the rush of gravity before the braking system will let you ‘parachute’ safely onto terra firma.  Finally, with the adrenaline pumping, it’s time for the ultimate rush: the world’s only indoor bungee jump at 150ft!
Remember to smile on your way down as photographs will be taken and you will have the opportunity to purchase them as a keepsake to show all of your friends!

  • Minimum age: 14 (under 18’s need parental/guardian consent)
  • Maximum weight: 18 st
  • Over 50’s require a doctor’s certificate
  • You must have a good level of fitness. Anyone suffering from high blood pressure, epilepsy, asthma, damage to neck, spine or eyes or who is pregnant will not be able to take part in this experience. If you have any disability or illness that may prevent you from taking part in the experience you must discuss this with the centre before booking
  • Glasses and hard contact lenses may not be worn
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to venue
  • Photos and merchandise will be available to purchase on the day
     

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
