Get the best of both! Spend the morning climbing on the Sandstone rocks of Sussex learning how to climb, and belay your friends. A short break for lunch then its off to the abseil tower as you spend the afternoon whizzing down the vertical face. You can even try it blindfolded! Southern sandstone is surrounded by beautiful woodland and has the advantage of ease of access, being situated halfway between London and Brighton. Because of the soft nature of the rocks we can not abseil on them as it causes too much damage, so a 20 minute drive will see us at our 33ft purpose built Abseiling tower.

On arrival you will be greeted by your instructor who will explain the format of your experience and a full safety briefing will be given. The techniques of abseiling will be explained and then it’s time for you to have a go! Your confidence will be tested and you will even be able to abseil blindfolded. At the end of your session there will be a debrief.

  • Minimum age: 14 years (under 18's must be accompanied by a participating parent or legal guardian)
  • Maximum weight: 16 stone
  • Participants should be in reasonable health and have a general level of fitness
  • This experience is not dependent on the weather
  • Up to two spectators per person are allowed and there is no charge
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to venue

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a gift pack to you or directly to the recipient. A voucher and booking information will be included in the pack so you just need to check the info and book your experience.
