The Smart School of Cookery is ideal for those wanting to find inspiration in the kitchen or simply to try something new. This hands on, cookery lesson will give you the tips and tricks with expert tuition from specialist celebrity and professional chefs. Owner, Ann Hood, was a previous contestant on BBC’s Masterchef so you are guaranteed an experience full of cookery passion. With a variety of styles and courses to choose from and hands on experience, this course will teach you the fundamental rules of becoming a smart cook. Time to scrub up and get hands on!

Full day courses start at 11.00am and half day courses start at either 10.00am for the morning session or 2.00pm for the afternoon session. On arrival you will be greeted by your friendly and professional chef. As a group you will be able to enjoy refreshments before discussing the menu. You’ll each be provided with an apron, information pack, recipes and a pen and paper to take notes. The lesson will teach you how to cook delicious themed courses and you are guaranteed to learn some handy and exciting new kitchen skills, so you can leave with the confidence to recreate your gourmet meal at home. You will be encouraged to taste all your dishes you create throughout the day and refreshments will be included alongside these.

  • Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue. It is essential that you book and take your experience before this date as vouchers may not be extended beyond the expiration date. This voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer
  • The experience runs Monday to Thursday, subject to availability
  • Allow approximately 5 to 5½ hours in total
  • All participants must hold a valid voucher. Each voucher is valid for two people
