The award-winning Zoological gardens at Chester Zoo are justifiably famous and provide a spectacular setting for the UK’s most popular wildlife attraction. The Zoo covers over 110 acres and for garden enthusiasts, this offers a host of fascinating themed areas and some truly exotic planting.

What does the activity include?
This exciting day will involve working alongside the Zoo’s qualified, highly experienced and enthusiastic horticulturalists. You will spend half the day with the “outside” team including time in one of the animal houses. In the afternoon you will spend time in the Nursery caring for our specialist collections of tender plants.
- Your special day will start at 8.00am
- Tea breaks and lunch is provided
- At the end of the experience you will receive a signed certificate and a surprise gift as a permanent memento of your day
- The day will finish at 4.00pm

Chester Zoo in Cheshire.
What should I wear/take?
Please wear casual clothing suitable for the time of year with comfortable shoes.
How long should I allow for this experience?
Please allow approximately 8 hours for the whole experience.
The actual time spent participating will be approximately 6 ½ hours.
When does the activity take place?
The experience runs every Wednesday from April to October, subject to availability.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You must book
and take your experience before the expiry date. All bookings are subject to availability.
Are there any restrictions?
Minimum age 18 years.
Participants must be reasonably fit and active, if you have any questions then please ask the supplier at the time of booking.
What about the weather?
The experience is not weather dependent.
Can I bring spectators?
Included is one free guest pass to enter Chester Zoo anytime from 10.00am (kindly note that your guest will not be able to accompany you during your experience).
What else do I need to know?
Kindly note that once a date has been booked for this experience it cannot be changed or cancelled.
Nearest train station is Bache.
Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue.

Delivery by first class post within 3 - 5 working days. Please allow 7 days for delivery during peak postal times
Next day delivery must be ordered before 12.00. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched the following day. A signature will be required upon receipt. Deliveries not signed for will taken to your local post depot
