What does the activity include?
After a welcome tea or coffee on arrival you will enjoy an in depth, interesting and very entertaining tour. You will be shown a selection of the vines and your guide will discuss how they are trained, grown and harvested. You will then visit the state of the art Winery and bottling plant where you will discover the secrets of the winemaking process from the arrival of the grapes to the bottling of the finished wine.. This impressive facility was partially funded by a processing and marketing grant and completed in October 2005, It is one of the most advanced red and white wine producing winery in England.
Next you will have the chance to taste some of the vineyard’s finest wine before finally settling down to enjoy a delicious ‘ploughman’s’ style buffet lunch. Prepared on the premises lunch includes fresh local produce such as Sussex cheeses and locally reared ham. As a special treat you will also be given a complimentary bottle of still wine to take home with you.

What should I wear?
The vineyard recommends you wear sturdy footwear as there is some walking involved as well as suitable outerwear for the weather.
How long should I allow for this experience?
Courses generally begin at 10am and finish at 2pm including an hour for lunch, times may vary so please check at the time of booking.
When does the activity take place?
The experience is available all year round on selected weekdays and Saturdays although days will be less frequent in the winter months.
It is recommended that you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise that you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. All bookings are subject to availability. For the summer months, it is recommended that you book at least three or four months in advance
Are there any restrictions?
Minimum age 18 years.
What about the weather?
The experience is not particularly weather dependant and the tour will be adapted if necessary.
Can I bring spectators?
Sorry, all guests must hold a valid voucher for the experience.

Tea and coffee on arrival, lunch and soft drinks are all included in the price of your experience. You will also receive a complimentary bottle of wine per couple to take home with you. You will have an opportunity to purchase further wine on the day.
Please advise of any special dietary requirements at the time of booking.
Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue.
Personal accident & cancellation insurance are included.
