What does the activity include?
Beneath the glass roof and in air-conditioned comfort, you will receive a warm welcome before taking your seats for the set three-course lunch menu. After lunch, just sit back and relax and enjoy the spectacular views as the cruise takes you past some of London’s magnificent attractions. You will then have the chance to see London from a completely different perspective with a trip on the amazing London Eye.
Where does the experience take place?
The London Eye is situated on the South bank by County Hall and the Lunch Cruise leaves from Embankment Pier.
What should I wear/take?
Dress code is smart casual.
How long should I allow for this experience?
The lunch cruise boards at 12.00hrs for a prompt 12.30hrs departure, returning back at 14.15hrs. Your flight on the London Eye will last approximately 1 hour.
Bookings for both the London Eye and Lunch Cruise MUST be booked via eXhilaration, if you just turn up then you will be unable to take your experience. If you turn up late and miss the boat and/or time slot on the London Eye, you lose your experience and will not be able to rebook with the same voucher at a later date.
When does the activity take place?
Thurs, Fri & Sat lunchtimes from January until the end of November. In addition the experience will also operate Wed lunchtimes from the beginning of April until the end of November. Kindly note that this voucher cannot be used during the month of December.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You must book and take your experience before the expiry date. All bookings are subject to availability.
Are there any restrictions?
Minimum age 12.
Drinks are not included but can be purchased separately.
Smoking is not permitted during this experience, with the exception of the outside deck onboard the boat.
Prams, bassinets or pushchairs are not permitted and high chairs are not available onboard the boat.
What about the weather?
In the unlikely event that a lunch cruise is cancelled, an alternative date will be offered to you.
Can I bring spectators?
Sorry, all guests must hold a valid voucher for the experience.
What else do I need to know?
Limited disabled access is available on board the boat, kindly note that toilet facilities have limited access via stairs, please advise us upon booking if you require this facility.
Your London Eye Flight will take place after your Lunch Cruise, a time for the London Eye will be confirmed with you upon booking.
IMPORTANT: You must take your exhilaration voucher with you on the day of your activity, if you don’t take the voucher then you will be unable to board the London eye or the boat and will lose your experience.
Vegetarian menu options are available, however this must be requested when you book a date for your experience.
Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue.
Personal accident & cancellation insurance are included.
