What does the activity include?
You'll fly one of the most exciting aerobatic aircraft in the world; the $280,000 Extra 300. With more than 300bhp pumping out of a massive 9-litre engine, the aircraft really has to be seen to be believed.
Your instructors are RAF trained in fast jet flying and after a thorough flight and safety briefing they will take you on the most thrilling adventure of your life. After an airborne tactic demonstration, including impressive formation manoeuvres with a second aircraft, take controls of the awesome +10/-10g Extra 300 for 30 minutes of extreme manoeuvres and tail chasing

This experience is held at Kemble Airfield near Cirencester in Gloucestershire
What should I wear/take?
It is essential that you wear light flat shoes with good grips - trainers are ideal. Comfortable casual clothes are recommended, it is also advisable to take a light jacket as it can be exposed on the airfield. Loose objects (including cameras) are not allowed in the aircraft cockpit.
How long should I allow for this experience?
Your experience will last for approximately 3-4 hours with 40 minutes flying time where, after manoeuvre demonstrations, you will get the opportunity to fly yourself (actual length at instructor's discretion).
When does the activity take place?
Flights operate on Saturdays from the end of March to the beginning of November, subject to availability. This is structured as a flying lesson and you will be taught to fly the aircraft yourself.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You must book and take your experience before the expiry date. All bookings are subject to availability.

Participants are required to sign a disclaimer before taking part

What about the weather?
This is a weather dependent activity and it is crucial that you call the centre for a weather check before setting out. If your flight is cancelled due to bad weather then an alternative date will be offered to you.
Can I bring spectators?
Up to two spectators per participant are very welcome. They may also be able to attend your briefings with you if there is enough space. Please be aware that spectators are not covered by insurance to go airside. Spectating is not recommeded for young children as facilities are limited.
What else do I need to know?
You will be flying an Extra 300, which is a piston engined, propeller-driven aircraft, that handles like a fighter. There will be the opportunity to do aerobatic flying before landing if requested.
The aerodrome has café facilities.
Nearest train station is Kemble.
Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue.
