Fly with a Fighter Pilot
The Bulldog has been the training aircraft of choice for ten air forces around the world. Your fighter pilot instructor will teach you to fly aerobatic manoeuvres and the trip can be as mild or as wild as you choose.

What does the activity include?
Upon arrival you will be kitted out in your flying suit and military bone dome. After which you will attend a pre-flight briefing which includes a safety/parachute brief, how to fly the aircraft, aerobatic manoeuvres and a short video.
Then it's time to strapon your parachute and have a cockpit controls and safety brief at the aircraft before boarding this magnificent piston engined, propeller-driven aircraft. During your flight your instructor will demonstrate manoeuvres and then you will get the chance to practice them.
Once back on the ground you will have a personal debrief with your instructor in which you will receive a signed flight certificate.

This experience is held at Kemble Airfield near Cirencester in Gloucestershire
What should I wear/take?
It is essential that you wear light flat shoes with good grips - trainers are ideal. Comfortable casual clothes are recommended, it is also advisable to take a light jacket as it can be exposed on the airfiled. Loose objects (including cameras) are not allowed in the aircraft cockpit.
How long should I allow for this experience?
Please allow approximately 2-3 hours at the airfield, trip time is around 35 minutes, of which 25 minutes are airbourne.
When does the activity take place?
Flights operate Monday to Saturday all year round subject to availability.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You must book and take your experience before the expiry date. All bookings are subject to availability.
Are there any restrictions?
Participants are required to sign a disclaimer before taking part
Minimum Age:12 / Maximum age 55 (over 55’s require a letter from their GP)
Maximum Height : 6’5’’
Maximum Weight: 17 stone
What about the weather?
This is a weather dependent activity and it is crucial that you call the centre for a weather check before setting out. If your flight is cancelled due to bad weather then an alternative date will be offered to you.
Can I bring spectators?
Up to two spectators per participant are very welcome. They may also be able to attend your briefings with you if there is space. Please be aware that spectators are not covered by insurance to go airside. Spectating is not recommended for young children as facilities are limited.
What else do I need to know?
The aerodrome has café facilities.
Nearest train station is Kemble.
Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue.
Personal accident & cancellation insurance are included.
Kindly note that each centre has their own cancellation policy and fees. Some centres may not allow a booking to be cancelled or changed once it has been made. Please call us for further details.
