What does the activity include?
Jean-Christophe is a Michelin and 5AA rosette award winning chef with a wealth of prestigious accolades to his name so you will certainly be in the best hands.
This one day course, personally designed by Jean-Christophe himself is created to appeal to all ages and abilities novice or experienced. The Novelli Academy aim to make cookery and wine appreciated accessible to everyone, and if this was not enough Jean-Christophe will personally guide you through the day and as a fantastic entertainer, gregarious in nature and has an enormous sense of fun that is not on contagious but instantly puts everyone at ease, we guarantee to make this a day you will never forget.
Under the expert instruction and using on the finest seasonal produce and ingredients, you will be shown how to create a diverse range of gourmet dishes. The former star to TV’s Hell’s Kitchen will reveal secrets behind the correct use of seasonings from fresh garlic to chocolate to name but a few. The course is always inspirational and enlightening and guaranteed to add new dimensions to your cooking. You will be sampling the food along the way, which is accompanied by hand picked matching wines.

What should I wear/take?
Courses usually start at 11am and finish at 5pm, kindly note these timings are approximate and subject to change. Doors open approximately 30 minutes prior to the start time – it is requested that customers do not arrive any earlier than this, so that the Academy team can complete their preparations.

When does the activity take place?
Courses are held on selected weekend dates throughout the year.
We recommend you book at least eight weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You must book and take your experience before the expiry date. All bookings are subject to availability.
Are there any restrictions?
Minimum age 16 years.
What about the weather?
The weather will not affect this experience.
Can I bring spectators?
Sorry, all guests must hold a valid voucher for the experience.
What else do I need to know?
Kindly note that this course is based on demonstrations and tastings and participants will not be cooking themselves.
Lunch and beverages are included. You will need to advise of any food allergies or special requirements at the time of booking.
Unfortunately there is no disabled access on site as it has not been possible to modify the 14th century listed building.
Each participant will be provided with his or her own recipe folder.
Vouchers are valid for 9 months from the date of purchase.
Personal accident & cancellation insurance are included.
