One Day Surfing Course
Get ready for one day of wet 'n' wild surfing. Surfing is one of the most natural and eXhilarating experiences available and is great fun!

What does the activity include?
Your instructors will meet you on the beach at 09.30am and teach you beach safety and issue you with your equipment, boards and wetsuits. You will then practice your technique on the beach before hitting the surf with your instructor accompanying you at all times. Everyone is coached in waist to chest depth water unless otherwise instructed. You’ll break for lunch (at your own expense) and then it’s back for more surfing until 4.00pm.

Please allow a full day for the activity. The day starts at 09.30am and ends approximately 4.00pm, however these times may vary depending on weather and surf conditions.

When does the activity take place?
Selected weekends and weekday dates from March to December. All bookings are subject to availability and surf conditions.
We recommend you book at least two to four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You must book and take your experience before the expiry date. All bookings are subject to availability.
Are there any restrictions?
Minimum age 8 years
You must be able to swim 25 metres
Participants will be required to fill in a medical health & fitness declaration form. Please check with your doctor if you have any medical concerns.
What about the weather?
In the event that the surfing or weather conditions are deemed to be unsuitable, participants will be offered an alternative date. Customers must call the Surfing School 48 hours before their experience to check weather conditions are suitable.
Can I bring spectators?
Spectators are welcome, however views may be restricted.
What else do I need to know?
All instructors are qualified Surf Life Saving Association Life Guards and British Surfing Association Instructors.
The surf school is a Council Accredited surf school
An enrolment / fitness declaration must be completed on the day of the activity during your registration.
Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue.
Personal accident & cancellation insurance are included.
Kindly note that each centre has their own cancellation policy and fees. Some centres may not allow a booking to be cancelled or changed once it has been made. Please call us for further details.
