What does the activity include?
This cocktail making experience provides an introduction to the world of cocktails, professional bartending and explores its roots from 1806 to the present day, introducing a practical foundation in the mechanics of mixology and cocktail preparation. You learn methods of cocktail making; building a drink, stirring, shaking, blending, layering, muddling, straining and smashing!!! oh and tasting.
Typical itinerary includes:
- Arrival at venue for welcome drink
- Introduction of the cocktail and its history
- Tricks and tips from the Cocktail experts
- Mixology and the cocktail explained
- Expert demonstrations and interactive cocktail making
- Break (Tea, Coffee or Cocktail)
- Learn the classic and contemporary cocktails of today
- Leave with a memorable experience

In central London or in Birmingham
What should I wear/take?
All necessary equipment is provided. Please wear casual clothing.
How long should I allow for this experience?
The course lasts approximately 5 hours, including approximately 30 minutes for a break.
When does the activity take place?
Courses are held on selected Saturdays only approximately once a month at alternate locations.
We recommend you book at six to eight weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You must book and take your experience before the expiry date. All bookings are subject to availability.
Are there any restrictions?
No previous experience is necessary.
Minimum age is 18 years old. You may be asked to provide proof of age identification on the day.
What about the weather?
This activity is not affected by the weather
Can I bring spectators?
Sorry spectators are not permitted.
What else do I need to know?
You will receive either a complimentary cocktail guide or a professional cocktail shaker as a souvenir of the day.
Unfortunatly the building does not provide disabled access.
There will be approximately 15 people in total on this course.
Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue.
Personal accident & cancellation insurance are included.
