Are you a Top Gun or more of a Hot Shot? Only one way to find out! You can choose to fly ‘Top Gun’ sortie with an experienced fighter pilot in this amazing military aircraft.

What does the activity include?
After a full & thorough safety briefing, your ex-military instructors will demonstrate a formation take-off and close formation manoeuvering before teaching you how to fly aerobatics yourself. After you have flown some aerobatic manoeuvres in the Military Bulldog plane (a piston engined, propeller-driven aircraft), you will be introduced to tailchasing.
The flight is taylored to you and can be as wild or mild as you choose.

When does the activity take place?
Flights operate midweek from the end of March to the beginning of November, subject to availability. This is structured as a flying lesson and you will be taught to fly the aircraft yourself.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You must book and take your experience before the expiry date. All bookings are subject to availability.

Participants are required to sign a disclaimer before taking part

Maximum Weight: 17 stone
What about the weather?
This is a weather dependent activity and it is crucial that you call the centre for a weather check before setting out. If your flight is cancelled due to bad weather then an alternative date will be offered to you.
Can I bring spectators?
2 spectators per participant are welcome and may be allowed to listen to the brief if there is enough space. Please be aware that Spectators are not covered by insurance to go airside. Spectating is not recommended for young children, as facilities are limited.

The aerodrome has café facilities.
Nearest train station is Kemble.
Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue.
Personal accident & cancellation insurance are included.
Kindly note that each centre has their own cancellation policy and fees. Some centres may not allow a booking to be cancelled or changed once it has been made. Please call us for further details.
