What does the activity include?
Your visit to Kensington Palace will include the following:
- Audio tour. This will take you through the rooms telling the story of the etiquette of dressing for court and the Royal Ceremonial Dress collection
- Access to the beautiful State apartments including the Cupola room where Princess Victoria, later Queen Victoria was baptised and the Kings gallery with its excellent collection of 17th century paintings and the remarkable wind dial
- Unique opportunity to see the 'Diana, a Princess Remembered' exhibition, marking Diana's life as princess, mother, fashion icon and humanitarian, this celebration of the life of Diana, Princess of Wales features over two hundred photographs, alongside memorable film footage and interviews with people who knew the princess personally. The exhibition is completed with the stunning portraits by Mario Testino (included until the end of March 2008)
A delicious afternoon tea at the stunning 18th Century Orangery within the Palace grounds, including:
- Cream cheese & cucumber sandwiches
- Fruit scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry jam
- Orangery cakes
- A choice of freshly brewed teas or coffees

As a guideline, you should allow at least two and a half hours for your visit to the Palace but there is no limit to the visiting time.

When does the activity take place?
Kensington Palace is open daily from:
1 March - 31 October - 10am to 6pm (last admission 5pm)
1 November - 28 February - 10am to 5pm (last admission 4pm)
The Palace is closed on 24th - 26th December inclusive.
There may be additional closure dates , please check with us.
Afternoon tea is served at the Orangery between 15.00hrs and 17.00hrs in the winter (November to February) and 15.00hrs and 18.00hrs in the summer (March to October).Kindly note that the restaurant can get busy at peak times so it is advisable to arrive in plenty of time and there may be a wait for a table.
Are there any restrictions?
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are availalble before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You must book and take your experience before the expiry date. All bookings are subject to availability.
What about the weather?
The weather will not affect this experience.
Can I bring spectators?
The voucher is valid for two people only.
What else do I need to know?
Please bring your experience voucher with you on the day, as you will need to present this at the Palace to gain admission. Once you have booked a date for your experience, you will be sent a confirmation letter, please take this with you on the day and present to the Orangery when you arrive for your afternoon tea. Failure to bring these items will result in charges being made.
As Kensington Palace is a historical building there are some areas with difficult stairs and areas where wheelchair access is limited. Manual wheelchairs are available for use within the palace. Chairs are provided on a first come, first served basis and cannot be booked in advance

Next day delivery must be ordered before 12.00. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched the following day. A signature will be required upon receipt. Deliveries not signed for will taken to your local post depot
